With RevoLockTM, you can build in user-friendly suspension into a socket.
Adjust with two fingers and a twist.
Patients easily adjust tension to achieve proper suspension throughout the day.
Secure Suspension Regardless of Limb Position
Adjustable tension allows for the limb to be properly suspended at all times, reducing pistoning.
Great for Patients with Limited Strength
The powerful dial allows the user to draw in the liner even with limited strength and/or dexterity.
Reduces Fall Potential
Guarantees a secure suspension method in all environments.
Automatic Alignment
The RevoLock Lanyard automatically aligns the limb in the socket, eliminating pin lock frustrations.
Adjustable Though Clothing
The dial can be operated through clothing, allowing the patient to adjust suspension or limb position as their volume changes.
Don While Seated
RevoLock Lanyard gives patients the ability to fully draw the limb into the socket, even when seated.

Patient Indications
Goodbye frustration. Hello secure suspension.
You Can Solve:
- Volume Changes: Patients with significant volume change can be suspended in the socket, regardless of the position of their limb. As volume changes, they simply dial in the ideal suspension.
- Pressure Intolerance: Address pain associated with distal tibia pressure or distal femur pressure by pulling the socket on in a seated position, eliminating excessive pressure.
- Skin Sheer: Gently pulling the limb into position reduces skin sheer when donning the socket. The RevoLock Lanyard allows for a dynamic fit that reduces distal shear forces.
You Can Solve:
- Long Limbs: RevoLock Lanyard eliminates the need to locate a pin. The system automatically draws the liner into the correct position, every time.
- Bulbous Distal: Mechanical advantage allows patients to easily pull bulbous distal limbs into the socket.
- Balance Issues: The ability to don a socket while seated empowers patients with balance issues to get their socket situated prior to standing up.
- Strength Issues: Mechanical advantage allows patients with compromised strength to easily draw their limbs into their sockets.
- Easy Access: The dial can be located anywhere on the socket to allow patients to easily reach and operate the suspension system.

Adjustability Outcome Studies
-
This report concludes that adding RevoFit adjustable panels and RevoLock suspension to a socket allows transtibial prosthesis users to stabilize their residual limb fluid volume and improve overall socket fit, while safely maintaining suspension of the socket.

Patients who are best suited for a RevoLock Lanyard are those who struggle with their current suspension system, or new patients looking for an innovative suspension approach. We have successfully outfitted patients who have trouble locating a pin-lock pin, have long or bulbous limbs, experience large volume change each day, or change activity often. We have also seen great benefits for patients who struggle with balance when donning their socket or who have limited range of motion. In the end, we make it easy to put on and keep on your socket.
RevoLock Lanyard may not be appropriate for people with numbness in their limb. Talk to your practitioner to see if this will work for you.
The weight of the patient is managed mostly by the socket frame, rather than by the RevoLock system. As long as you do not intend to hang by your feet on a regular basis, then the RevoLock system can be used on just about any patient weight.
The RevoLock system approaches suspension in a different way: rather than relying on exacting position of the liner to align the pin with the lock, RevoLock draws the limb into the correct position. It's like having that new automatic parallel parking feature on your car. It simply guides your limb into place. You can put on your socket while seated without falling, hopping around or causing skin shear. Lastly, you are always attached to the socket regardless of the volume of your leg. Stop struggling and dial in suspension throughout the day.
Most of the time RevoLock is integrated into a new socket. However, for some pin-lock systems there are ways to retrofit the system into an existing socket. It’s a bit more complicated, but it may be worth asking your practitioner if it they can safely install the system into your socket.
Our RevoLock Lanyard Kits are sold directly to prosthetists who then work with you to fit and fabricate your socket. Please take the quiz above to see if a RevoLock Lanyard suspension will work for you. Then download and print our RevoLock Lanyard guide and take it to your practitioner to get started.
Your prosthetist will be able to answer specific questions regarding your insurance coverage.
Adding RevoLock to a socket is an inexpensive way to truly improve the socket. That said, a new socket has to be built to incorporate the RevoLock into a socket. Talk with your provider to get a good idea of any associated costs and your insurance coverage for a new socket.
The system is easy to use! Just attach the metal insert at the end of the cord to your liner, and then wind the dial. The lace will draw your limb into the socket. As your volume changes, you can continue to position your limb until it fully seats into the bottom of the socket. To release tension or to remove the socket, simply pull the dial outwards to release the locking mechanism and pull your limb out of the socket.
You can attach the metal insert into each liner you use. Simply screw on/off the insert to the liner that you are using that day. You can also pull the RevoLock insert into the end of the socket to create an air seal. Then you can use a sealing ring/suction liner as as an alternative method of suspension.
The RevoLock system is robust and holds up well over time. Even so, laces and dials can break. Each component of the system can be replaced, either you or by your prosthetist, and only takes a few minutes. Click recommends lace replacement every 6 months.
300lb Spectra (Dyneema) lace.
The lace can often last the life of the socket. However, we do recommend replacing it every six months. It’s easy to do and it ensures that your socket will always be in tip-top condition. In each RevoLock kit, we include a replacement lace kit. Ask your provider for that kit so that you can have one on hand if and when you need it.
RevoLock Lanyard is safe to submerge in fresh and saltwater. If you do use the system in salt water, rinse the system with clean water afterwards to remove salt and any corrosive elements.
Check the lace often for knots or signs of wear. If either exist, replace the lace with a lace replacement kit. Have your provider look over your system when you visit their office to ensure that the system is functioning optimally.
